12 week dr. appt.
i had my monthly dr. appt today. i am 12 weeks and 4 days. i got to hear the baby's heartbeat on the doppler for the first time. it was 160 which my doctor said is still normal for the first trimester. as of sunday the 2nd of may i will be starting my second trimester! which hopefully means i will be getting my energy back and nausea will be going bye bye!! i cannot fit into my jeans and my regular shirts are very tight. i know its all baby because i have actually lost 2 lbs in the past 4 weeks since my last dr. appt. i hope to gain it back soon though (for baby's sake of course!! :))

hmmmm...already?
my husband and i had just started talking about trying for a third child in the beginning of february. we have two gorgeous boys and thought a girl might be nice so when february rolled around we though we were ready to start trying. we tried for about 1 month and then march first came and my cycle was about 3 weeks late. i decided maybe i would try a test even though only trying for 1 month i didnt think i could be pregnant already! i bought a test and kept it in my purse for about 2 days. then i was over at my cousin laurens house one night and told her about it. she begged me to take it and so i finally gave in. i hesitated at first because i didnt want to get my hopes up and be very disappointed. so, i took it and a few minutes later....it was positive! i could not believe when i saw 2 lines appear clear as day! i called my husband at home w/ our 2 boys and he said "no its not positive!" i said "yes it is" through a crying voice. he was very excited but upset because i took it at her house and not with him there. i felt bad :( so, i sent him a picture of it and he was excited! when i came home that night thats all we could do was talk about baby holmes! we told the boys and sam automatically said i want a little sister!! it was so cute! ia m now 12 weeks and 3 days pregnant! i have seen my baby and heard the beautiful heartbeat!!
